I think this is the earliest I remember for snowflakes. It was beautiful. I tried to take a picture but wasn’t able to capture it right. Couldn’t really tell it was snow falling or splotches of bird poop.
Anyway, today we pulled out the veggie plants that had turned to mush from the freeze. Although I haven’t been recording my gardening journey this season online (I’m so bad at this) I did have a great season. Here are some pics from the garden this season.

I've been gardening in the Quad Cities for the last 11 years. I was raised by gardeners so I feel like I've been doing this all my life. I admit that it's much more enjoyable now. I'm growing flowers instead of snapping beans, but my interests are expanding into growing more vegetables. One thing that hasn't changed is my curiosity in nature and wildlife. I’m an organic gardener who loves wildlife, which isn’t always easy.
